Not only is it intrusive, but it’s unwanted and unwarranted for someone who has paid for a professional licence. I’m looking at you, WinZip! Ever since I installed my current-paid for-version of WinZip Pro (version 24), it’s bombarded me with advertising and promotional popups several times a day, even if I’m right in the middle of work.

Trying the program on an older pc, and it works fine. Shortly after install of the program, I got a BSoD, but was too far away to see the message before the pc rebooted.Īny ideas? Suggestions? Anybody have a boat with a heavy anchor? Very few programs installed on this machine. Then make another change, save, etc, just to try to get through a project, and multiple lock ups/reboots along the way. I literally had to make a change, then save. It will lock if I am selecting an area to crop. It will lock if I am adding text to an image. This has been going since I installed the program 3 days ago.
Turned the monitor on, and the system was rebooting. A while later (20 or 30 minutes, don't know), I heard a noise from the pc. Last night after it happened, again, I turned the monitor off to let it sit and see if it would come back to life. Using it, it will lock up my pc so hard I have to hold the power button to shut the pc off.
